FSE training at your premises, with hands-on first aid
We come out to your company in Eastern Norway and run the whole course in one visit, two to four hours depending on how many you are. Hands-on CPR on a manikin and with a defibrillator, and your electrical safety manager (faglig ansvarlig) is in the room with us.
From 9 900 kr per group of up to six. The price is for the group, not per person.

Two things the rules ask for
DSB works on the basis that no more than 12 months pass between each round of training, and that your electrical safety manager (faglig ansvarlig) takes part in planning and running it. We sort out both together. We phone your electrical safety manager before the course, you open the session, and you get the paperwork showing what was covered. Then this year's training is in place.
How we do it

Hour by hour
The order is fixed. The time on each block depends on how many you are, so the session ends up between two and four hours.
Opening
Your electrical safety manager opens. We go through your installation and what has happened over the past year.
FSE theory
Scope and roles under section 6. The five safety rules. Planning and risk assessment under sections 10 and 12. The boundary against live working, and what NEK EN 50110-1 actually is.
Your own instructions
We look at your wiring diagrams and access restrictions. If you have had near misses, we go through them. Your electrical safety manager leads this part.

Current through the body
What electric shock and arc flash do to the body: burns outside and inside, rhythm disturbances that can come hours after the bang, and the kidneys. If the current went through both arms, it went through the heart. That is why everyone who has had current through the body goes for ECG monitoring afterwards.
Hands-on first aid
XABC in practice. First freeing the casualty without becoming victim number two, and stopping bleeding. Then open airways, recovery position and pocket mask. After that CPR at 30:2 on a manikin that gives feedback, with an AED trainer. Three manikins and two AEDs, so everyone gets to practise.
A scenario in your own installation
We stage an incident somewhere you know: electricity, a fall, a cut or a loose object. Who calls 113, and who meets the ambulance when it arrives?
Documentation
Everyone signs the attendance list. We go through the inspection annex together, so you know what is in it.
We hold the course in Norwegian or English. If you have people who are more comfortable in English, tell us when you book and we run the whole session in English.
Six people get through the practical part faster than twelve. Small group, shorter session, same content.
What it costs
The price is for the group, not per person. From NOK 9 900 for up to six. The more of you there are, the lower the price per participant.

Launch price through 2026
The first five customers pay NOK 12 900 for the full session with up to 12 participants, through 31 December 2026. We have no references to show yet, and we think you should get something back for that.
Annual agreement
DSB works on the basis that no more than 12 months pass between each round of training. With an annual agreement we propose a new date 11 months after the last course, and you confirm it. That way you never discover in March that the deadline ran out in January. The agreement runs for three years.

Zone 1 is up to one hour's drive from Oslo. There the travel is part of the price, and we add nothing for evenings or weekends. Zone 2 is up to two hours' drive from Oslo. Further out than that, we agree case by case.
Travel, equipment, course certificates and the inspection annex are included in the prices above, and no VAT is added. We invoice after the course against your organisation number, net 14 days.
Who runs the course
Anders Igland
Anders is a paramedic with long experience as an instructor, and has run FSE courses for the past four years. He owns the professional content of our course and approves the material before we use it.
- Runs FSE courses for companies, and has done so for four years.
- Paramedic in the ambulance service, with instructor experience from Redningsselskapet and RelyOn Nutec.
Your electrical safety manager
DSB writes that your electrical safety manager "must take an active part in planning and delivery, and contribute incidents from their own undertaking". We have built the session around that, so that part is easy for you.
- We phone your electrical safety manager before the course and plan the content together. Your own wishes cost nothing extra as long as they do not need more time.
- Your electrical safety manager opens the session and leads the part on the company's own instructions.
What you get documented
If an inspection or an internal audit turns up, you should be able to find what was covered and who took part, without searching for it.
Course certificate the same day
One for each participant, with name, date and what the session contained. We send them the same day as the course. We call it a course certificate.
Signed attendance list
Every participant signs in the room. The list shows who was actually present.
Inspection annex
One document showing what the session contained and how the content was adapted to your installation. You file it straight into your internal control system.
All of it in one delivery
We send the course certificates, the attendance list and the inspection annex by email the same day, gathered in one delivery. If you need them again later, we send them again.
With the paperwork comes a short checklist of what goes into your internal control system, with the date for next year's course. It takes a quarter of an hour to file.
