Is an online hot work course approved?
What does the hot work course cost?
An online hot work course costs between 1 490 kr and 2 607,50 kr. That is the range we found on August 16, 2026 across the seven providers whose price we could check. All of them are approved by Norsk brannvernforening. Sertio sits at the bottom at 1 490 kr, every fee included. To get the certificate you also need a practical extinguishing exercise. That brings the full path to between 2 490 kr and 4 132,50 kr at the four providers that publish a combined price. The Brannvernforeningen fees are the same everywhere.
The online course costs 1 490 kr in total at Sertio. All mandatory Brannvernforeningen fees are included, so nothing is added at checkout. The Complete package with the practical extinguishing exercise costs 2 490 kr.
